A great value treat for both nostalgic thirty-somethings and younger gamers alike. Daily Mirror
This is a brilliant product. For those old enough to remember the games you will be in seventh heaven, that is for sure. However when you do get past the nostalgic stage, you actually look forward to playing the games, as they are still as addictive as ever. CrowdedBrain.co.uk
You get a nicely designed piece of hardware (with TV-out) and a stack of old titles to browse through for under thirty quid, and if you grew up with a Mega Drive under your telly, it's worth it for the novelty value alone. And let's not forget - in the context of most (13 to be precise) of these having been released via the Wii's Virtual Console channel individually at eye watering prices, that's not bad value at all. I never saw this coming but that doesn’t make it any less awesome, sporting a classic Megadrive D-Pad and A,B,C button layout it’s hard for a long time Sega fan such as myself not to fall in love with this thing. Tssznews.com
